This painting is my take on bringing this vintage postcard into the 21st century. By adding bright colors in acrylic paint and also painting in harmony with the image itself, I hope to bring a fresh take while maintaining the vintage feel of the postcard.
This postcard is labeled "Sacred Heart Catholic Church Augusta, GA." It was stamped and sent in September of 1946.
